Alright, so the Ferris Bueller thing, well it’s Movies in the Park Night which means, free movie in the park! heck yes! Tonight’s Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, first movie of the season. Please come out around sunset and enjoy if you’re in Little Rock.
Secondly, United Nations. A virtual hardcore all-star band that features Geoff Rickly (Thursday’s front man), members of Converge and some other well known hardcore dudes. It’s all politically charged and chaotic. It’s less chaotic than converge but more chaotic than The Chariot’s new release. It’s just spastic enough. Also they had a tough time getting that album released because of the art. It’s the famous Beatles cover, but The Beatles are on fire, haha. Anyway, get ready to bang your head to this song.
Also, this song’s entitled No Sympathy For A Sinking Ship, maybe that’s reflective of the Titanic? Maybe not, at any rate, that’s two posts in two days that I’ve gotten to mention the Titanic…
